Parking Update!

In response to the need for additional parking at our building our landlord, Starmark Properties, is building an additional level of parking on top of the existing upper level at the rear of the building. Construction starts April 1, 2014 with completion by July 1, 2014. During this period our usual parking area will be cordoned off and we will be relocated to another area on one of the empty lots on the southeast side of Harbourside Drive at Fell Avenue. This location will be well posted. Please click here for the link to the full letter from Starmark to the building tenants about the construction. Read more...

In 2013 I became Canada’s first registered physiotherapist to complete PosturePro International Posturology Internship.
I chose this training because I could see it offers an evidenced base scientific model to eliminate the pain of chronic poor posture as well as improving exercise and sports performance, by “ resetting” the software in the brain and nervous system.
This is a vastly more intelligent and sustainable solution than what is traditionally offered under the basic exercise banner not to mention the array of useless and expensive “postural correction“ braces.
I am currently seeing a range of patients, which include high-level athletes, those with neurological issues (Parkinson’s and MS) as well as patients with basic postural dysfunctions.

Sit less, stand more!

There has been lots of coverage in the media recently about “sitting as the new smoking“, the short and long term damage that excess sitting is doing to our skeletons as well as our metabolism.
I have had excellent reviews from patients using this product, who want to reduce back pain by sitting less while working.
