New! Neurology services at Trimetrics.

With pleasure we welcome Registered Physiotherapist Charlene Dornan. Trained in Northern Ireland, Charlene is passionate about treating patients with neurological conditions (post stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s, MS) and joins us to expand our services using Pilates based rehabilitation (Neuro Pilates) She will be available Tues and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings effective October 17,2017. Scoliosis Program

Niamh will be in Edmonton on October to attend the first level of the world-renowned scoliosis training known as The Schroth Method. She will integrate this into her Pilates based work to offer a progressive and superior treatment approach for children, teens and adults managing postural challenges, pain and muscle imbalances associated with scoliosis. Scoliosis Video Niamh can also be heard speaking about scoliosis on CKNW John Mc Comb show on Thursday morning sharing a spot with our colleagues from Its Time Fitness.

Trimetrics joint hypermobility program

Trimetrics is currently the only physiotherapy clinic in BC focussed on providing effective comprehensive management for joint hypermobility. Jessi and Niamh continue to develop the Pilates based aspects of this work in association with the UBC Department of Medical Genetics at Children’s and Women’s Health Centre of BC

Dance Medicine

Once again Susie is privileged enough to be presenting at this year’s annual IADMS (International Association of Dance Medicine and Science) conference in Houston, Texas, October 12-15.  She will be co-presenting with her colleagues from Pro Arte Centre, Erika Mayall MPT, HBSc (Kin) and Astrid Sherman FISTD, Director of Pro Arte Centre.

Chopra Primordial Sound Meditation

Well trained as we are in full spectrum physical therapy techniques at Trimetrics, we recognize that we are all more than the sum of our physical parts! We honour the inseparable relationship between the body and the mind. To develop our mind-body skills and philosophy, Siobhan is completing her certification in PSM at the world-renowned Chopra Center in October. She will be be offering sessions one to one and in small groups for those interested in learning the Chopra technique for stress management as well as general well being. Trimetrics Physiotherapy Outreach Program with Covenant house

We are proud to be Vancouver’s first physiotherapy clinic to offer our services on a volunteer basis to this well known organisation. We have supplied some basic treatment equipment so that our physiotherapist Niamh McGowan, giving her time and expertise, can provide weekly one to one treatments to the female residents at Drake House. Based on how this first offering is received, we will add meditation classes in 2018. Please consider supporting this amazing organisation that is always need donations of clothing, housewares etc. All info on their website

Parking update!

We can now offer you 17 parking spots between the lower covered level and third / upper levels. Spots are free but tight so please take care parking ! Larger vehicles are somewhat easier to park on the top level.
