Education - Scoliosis Update from Susie

“Making Sense of the Curve” was the title of the excellent one day workshop I attended in March 2017. It was hosted through the Physiotherapy Association of BC and led by Andrea Mendoza, founder of “The Scoliclinic” in Vancouver and Carl Ganzert, an orthotist, who does bracing for people with scoliosis. Having received instructions in the Schroth method during my physiotherapy training in Germany, and having since then attended a couple of weekend long workshops in Pilates for Scoliosis, I was intrigued to see what and if anything had changed in the approach to scoliosis management.

Education - Complete Concussion Management

Niamh has just completed her certification for Complete Concussion Management ( )  and is now available for assessment, treatment and baseline testing for all concussion patients Monday – Friday.

Fun weekend with Core Align!

We had the pleasure of an excellent 2 day workshop with Lynn Schorn, Reg. Physiotherapist, Pilates teacher from Balanced Body. University.( ) This equipment offers our patients a wide range of very different core training including standing spine rotation so useful injury rehab for tennis, golf and hockey.

Staff News - Kirsten Stålberg

Our physiotherapist Kirsten Stålberg, has been busy setting up practice in lovely Nanaimo, since moving there last year.  She will still be seeing her clients at Trimetrics throughout summer, to slowly transition away from her native North Shore stomping ground.

If you happen to be in Nanaimo, and would like to see Kirsten, details of her new locations can be found on her website at

Staff News - Lynsey Arkley

With great regret, we say farewell to lovely lively Lynsey  at the end of June who is also moving to Nanaimo with her family.  Nanaimo is in for a great treat with her arrival to the Pilates scene there! We will miss her sparky, funny, positive personality greatly and wish her every success.

Trimetrics in the media!

Here is a link her last segment: where she and Andrea explained hypermobility and its implications for injury and exercise.

Pilates Summer Sign Up

We will be posting sheets for class requests for 2 summer terms: Term 1 July, Term 2 August. Places in groups are reserved by pre-pay only. No make-up classes for these 4 week terms. We will offer limited drops-in as usual.

We are delighted to be able to offer a generous 15 spaces between lower and upper levels (free!). We respectfully ask that you take the time to park carefully, since it happens quite often (likely with being rushed), some vehicles are actually taking up 2 spots by part of their vehicle crossing the parking line making it impossible for another car to park. We would also respectfully ask that if you are planning a dog walk or coffee with a friend, to please re locate your vehicle so that space is available for incoming patients.

Trimetrics Fees 2017-07-01

Dear Clients,
In order to stay abreast of the costs of doing business (rent, parking, city taxes, admin, supplies, ongoing staff education essential to enhance clinical skills which ensures the most current evidence based treatment) we need to make some adjustments to our pricing.

Physiotherapy rates will increase on July 1st, 2017 and Pilates rates on September 1st, 2017.
