Amira is a Physiotherapist that hails from Ontario, where she completed her Bachelor’s in Human Kinetics at the University of Windsor in 2016, specializing in Exercise Science. She then went on to obtain a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario in 2018.

Since then, Amira has completed post-graduate training in dry needling (also known as Intramuscular Stimulation or “IMS”), manipulations, and treating temporomandibular joint (TMJ) issues.

Amira uses a combination of education, manual therapy, exercise, and IMS if indicated for treatment. She has a passion for movement as a healing modality and is interested in hiking, weightlifting, kayaking, and e-sports.
To best help her clients, Amira regularly keeps up to date with emerging research to provide her patients with the best evidence-informed treatment that she can achieve.
